How Our Tune-Up Process Works
We follow a clear five-step process so you know what to expect. Schedule your appointment online or by phone. When you arrive, our technicians perform diagnostics and a thorough inspection of your vehicle. Those findings are compiled into your Digital Vehicle Inspection report, complete with photos, and sent directly to you along with an estimate. You review the recommendations and approve only the work you want done. Then we get to work or schedule the service at a time that fits your calendar. No surprises, no work without your sign-off.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Your Day Doesn’t Have to Stop
Our free shuttle service is available for qualifying visits, so dropping off your car doesn’t mean losing hours from your schedule. If your day starts before we open, night drop service is also available so you can leave your vehicle after hours, and we can get it into the shop first thing.
What a Tune-Up Includes
Our Tune-Ups cover a complete analysis of the components that keep your vehicle running: spark plugs, brakes, oil and other fluids, lights, tires, filters, and emissions. Each area is inspected by an ASE-certified technician, and findings are presented to you before any replacements or repairs are performed. You decide what gets done.
Not sure if your car is due? Common signs include reduced fuel economy, rough idling, sluggish acceleration, difficulty starting, or an illuminated check engine light. Catching these early, at the right intervals on your manufacturer’s maintenance schedule, can help extend the life of your vehicle and help you avoid more costly repairs down the road.
A tune-up sits at the core of any preventive maintenance plan. Rather than waiting for something to fail, scheduled maintenance is designed to catch wear on components like spark plugs and filters before they create larger problems. Following the schedule your manufacturer built for your specific vehicle is the most reliable way to stay ahead of those issues.
Vehicles that receive regular maintenance tend to hold onto fuel efficiency and consistent performance longer than those that don’t. Driveability problems, such as hesitation, stalling, or unusual engine noise, are common reasons drivers come in outside of a scheduled interval. When that happens, our technicians can assess which components are involved and explain what’s needed in plain language.
The right tune-up interval varies by make, model, and driving conditions. Your owner’s manual is a good starting point. One of our technicians can help you confirm what schedule makes sense for your vehicle.
