AC Services You Can See Before You Sign Off
Every AC service at Christian Brothers Automotive Newnan includes a free Digital Vehicle Inspection with photos of your system’s condition, shared with you before we begin any repair. All work is performed by ASE-certified technicians and covered by the Nice Difference® Warranty: 3 years/36,000 miles, whichever occurs last. We work on any make or model.
Catching AC trouble early can save you from a much bigger repair bill. The guide below covers the symptoms worth watching for and what they typically point to, so you can come in informed and make confident decisions about your vehicle.
Warning Signs Your Car’s AC Needs Attention
Some AC problems announce themselves clearly. Others are easy to dismiss until they get worse. These are the symptoms worth taking seriously:
- Warm or barely cool air even after the system has been running several minutes
- Weak airflow from the vents, even on the highest fan setting
- Musty or chemical odors when the AC is on, which can indicate mold or a refrigerant concern
- Clicking, rattling, or grinding when the AC compressor cycles on
- Moisture or pooling inside the cabin, often a sign of a clogged drain line
- Intermittent cooling that works for a few minutes, then stops
What AC Services Cover
Our AC Services address the full system: diagnostics and repairs, to general maintenance, no matter the make or model. We use the latest diagnostic technologies to identify the root cause before any repair work begins, so we’re addressing the problem rather than treating symptoms.
Components & Common Repairs
Depending on what diagnostics reveal, service can involve the compressor, condenser, evaporator, refrigerant lines, belts, seals, or electrical controls. A refrigerant recharge is one of the most common AC services, restoring cooling capacity when the system has lost charge over time. Compressor issues are more involved; catching them early can help prevent full failure.
A system inspection before peak Newnan summer heat is one of the better ways to reduce the chance of a mid-season breakdown. Preventive maintenance can extend AC system life and help keep smaller issues from becoming major repairs.
What to Expect During Your Visit
When you bring your vehicle in for car AC service, our technicians inspect the system and document their findings through the free DVI, sending you actual photos before any repair is approved. They explain what’s wrong and what’s needed in plain language. There’s no pressure to approve anything on the spot.
While your vehicle is in, we also perform a free Courtesy Inspection covering lights, brakes, suspension, tires, and battery at no charge. If you can’t wait at the shop, the free shuttle keeps your day moving. Once the work is complete, it’s covered by the Nice Difference® Warranty: 3 years/36,000 miles, whichever occurs last.
