How Diesel Diagnosis & Repair Works at Our Shop
When your diesel vehicle comes in, our process is straightforward: we inspect, we communicate, and we get to work only after you’ve reviewed the findings. Our free Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) produces actual photos of your vehicle during service, so you can see exactly what our technicians see before approving any repairs. No guesswork, no surprises.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.

What Coweta County Diesel Owners Should Know
Georgia Emissions Testing & Diesel Vehicles
Coweta County is one of 13 metro Atlanta counties where Georgia requires annual emissions testing for covered gasoline-powered passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks. Diesel vehicles are exempt from that requirement for registration purposes, regardless of age or weight. The exemption applies even within the covered counties, including Coweta County.
That doesn’t mean skipping maintenance. Keeping your diesel’s fuel system and emissions-related components in good shape still matters for performance, longevity, and avoiding larger repairs later.

Common Diesel Warning Signs to Watch For
Light-duty diesel owners sometimes notice symptoms that aren’t immediately familiar. Knowing what those signals mean can help you act before a minor issue becomes a costly one.
Fuel Injector & Filter Issues
Diesel fuel injectors operate at tight tolerances and are sensitive to debris and water contamination, which is one reason fuel filter changes matter on a regular schedule, especially if you tow frequently or cover a lot of miles. Reduced power, rough idling, or hard starting can all point to injector or fuel system problems worth having inspected.
Glow Plug Warning Light
A glow plug indicator that briefly illuminates at cold start is normal. Glow plugs warm the combustion chamber before ignition, and a short light cycle is part of that process. If the light stays on after the engine starts, flashes, or the engine is hard to start in cold weather, one or more glow plugs may be failing and should be checked.
Turbocharger Performance
Turbocharger wear is one of the more common sources of diesel performance loss. Symptoms can include noticeable lag under acceleration, a drop in fuel economy, or unusual noise from the engine bay. Turbo diagnosis typically goes hand in hand with a fuel system inspection, since the two systems interact closely on most diesel engines.
