From the moment you drop off your vehicle, we keep the process simple and transparent. Here’s what to expect when you bring your car to our Castle Rock shop for AC diagnostics and repairs.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.

How a Vehicle AC System Works
Your car’s AC system doesn’t generate cold air. It removes heat from cabin air by cycling refrigerant between liquid and gas states through a series of components: the compressor pressurizes the refrigerant, the condenser releases heat outside the cabin, and the evaporator absorbs heat from interior air. The expansion valve and receiver/dryer support that cycle and help keep the system balanced.
Each of those components can become a failure point. High-altitude conditions in Douglas County can affect refrigerant pressure, and systems that sit unused over winter are prone to seal degradation and refrigerant loss by the time summer demand returns. Accurate diagnosis matters because the same symptom, warm air for example, can have several different causes.
