Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled

Backed by an Industry-Leading Warranty
Our transmission work carries an industry-leading warranty because we’re confident in what our certified technicians deliver. That warranty isn’t a formality. It reflects our confidence in the quality of our workmanship.
Warning Signs Your Transmission Needs Attention
Some transmission problems announce themselves clearly. Others develop quietly until a minor issue becomes a costly one. These four signs are worth acting on promptly:
- Dashboard warning light: A transmission or check-engine light is often the first signal that something needs a closer look.
- Slipping gears or delayed engagement: If your vehicle hesitates before accelerating or seems to shift without input, the transmission may be losing its grip.
- Grinding, shaking, or hesitation during shifting: Unusual sensations when the transmission moves between gears indicate components under stress.
- Burning smell: Overheated or degraded transmission fluid produces a distinctive burning odor that shouldn’t be ignored.
If any of these sound familiar, don’t wait for the condition to worsen. Call (501) 518-5466 to schedule your transmission service. We offer complimentary shuttle service so a shop visit doesn’t have to interrupt your day.
What Wears a Transmission Down Over Time
Heat is the primary enemy of transmission health. Transmission fluid degrades with age and repeated heat exposure, gradually losing its ability to lubricate and cool the internal components it’s meant to protect. Once fluid breaks down, metal-on-metal contact accelerates wear throughout the system.
Stop-and-go driving compounds the problem. The I-630 corridor connecting West Little Rock to downtown puts vehicles through repeated acceleration and braking cycles that build heat and mechanical stress in the transmission. Drivers who spend significant time on that stretch can put more demand on their transmission than highway miles alone would suggest.
Transmission Fluid Maintenance Intervals
Both automatic and manual transmissions require periodic fluid changes to stay in good working order. The right interval depends on your specific vehicle, the transmission type, and how you drive. Your owner’s manual lists the manufacturer’s recommended schedule, and it’s the most reliable starting point.
If you’re not sure when your transmission fluid was last changed, our certified technicians can check its condition during a service visit and tell you where things stand. Staying current with fluid maintenance is one of the most cost-effective ways to help extend the life of your transmission.

FAQs
-
Q. "What factors determine the price of transmission repair?"Many different factors go into determining costs of transmission repair. The major factor is what type of vehicle you drive. The year, make and model of the car, determine how much parts and labor will cost. Another factor is how much damage the transmission has sustained. Your transmission should last a minimum of 100,000 miles by servicing your transmission on a regular basis.
-
Q. "What does automatic transmission service include?"Fluid is first drained from the pan during an automatic transmission service. A new transmission filter is installed with a new pan gasket once the pan has been removed. Finally, fresh automatic transmission fluid (ATF) is used to refill the vehicle.
-
Q. "Is there a difference between a transmission fluid change and flush?"During a transmission fluid and filter change, it’s only the fluid in the pan that is drained and replaced with new ATF. Four to five quarts of fluid will typically be replaced in this process, while nine to thirteen quarts are replaced during a full transmission fluid flush. The difference in amounts is because the complete flush drains the entire system.
