Cooling System vs. A/C: Two Different Systems
Your vehicle’s cooling system and its air conditioning system are separate. Cooling system service addresses engine temperature regulation, not cabin cooling. If your engine is overheating, that’s a cooling system issue. If warm air is blowing from your vents, that’s A/C. Many shops blur this distinction. We don’t.
The cooling system circulates antifreeze through the engine to absorb heat and disperse it through the radiator. Antifreeze doesn’t last the life of the vehicle. Over time, it breaks down, becomes acidic, and loses its ability to protect metal components from corrosion.

What a Coolant Flush Involves
A coolant flush is the primary maintenance service for your vehicle’s cooling system. We push fresh antifreeze through the system to completely evacuate old antifreeze and built-up contaminants, removing all old coolant before new antifreeze goes in. We then add conditioners that inhibit rust and scale deposits, extending the life of the new antifreeze and protecting internal components.
