Free Courtesy Inspection on Every Visit
When you bring your vehicle to Christian Brothers Automotive West Little Rock, our technicians perform a free Courtesy Inspection. During routine services like oil changes and tire rotations, they check for early signs of alignment or suspension concerns, including uneven tire wear, before those issues turn into bigger repairs. It’s one more way we help you stay ahead of problems rather than react to them.
Signs Your Vehicle May Need a Wheel Alignment
Some misalignment symptoms are hard to miss. Others develop gradually and are easy to attribute to something else. Watch for these:
- Vehicle pulling consistently to one side on a straight road
- Steering wheel sitting off-center while driving straight
- Uneven or cupped tire wear (also called tire scalloping)
- Vibration through the vehicle or floorboard at highway speeds
- Handling that feels loose or less responsive than usual
Beyond symptoms, alignment should be checked after any collision, after hitting a significant pothole or curb, and whenever new tires are installed. Misalignment can accelerate wear on new tires from the first mile, so pairing an alignment check with new tire installation can help protect your investment from day one. We recommend checking alignment every 6,000 miles or every six months as part of routine maintenance in the Little Rock area.

What’s the difference between wheel alignment and wheel balancing?
These two services are often confused. Alignment refers to the angles at which your wheels are set relative to the vehicle and the road. Balancing addresses the even distribution of weight in a tire and wheel assembly to prevent vibration. Both affect ride quality, but they address different problems.
How often should I get an alignment?
Every 6,000 miles or every six months is a common guideline. Come in sooner if you notice any of the symptoms listed above, after a hard impact, or when installing new tires.
What causes a vehicle to go out of alignment?
Normal wear and tear over time is the most common cause. Hitting a pothole, curb, or road debris can knock alignment out immediately. Minor collisions, even ones that don’t leave visible damage, can also shift suspension angles enough to matter.
Do I need an alignment after getting new tires?
Yes. Misalignment that existed before installation continues working on your new tires from the first mile. An alignment check at the time of new tire installation is one of the most cost-effective ways to help protect that purchase.
What angles are adjusted during an alignment?
Our technicians measure and adjust camber, caster, and toe angles, bringing all three back to manufacturer specifications for your specific vehicle.
