Students at Granbury ISD’s Acton Elementary School got an inside look at the work our service advisors and technicians do on a daily basis at Christian Brothers Automotive Granbury. The repair shop was one of several local businesses who participated in the school’s virtual career day.
Acton counselor Jill Jernigan said the school hosts a career day each year to help the students begin to dream for their future and get an idea of what kinds of jobs they have an interest in. “They were very excited to see the different videos and they especially enjoyed watching the hands-on tire part,” she said. “Many of our kids enjoy working with their hands, and we encourage them to find out what they enjoy doing and working toward their future goals.”
