What to Expect With Engine Services
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Frequently driving your car with little fuel can harm your engine over time because the gasoline at the bottom of your tank is usually the dirtiest. When this part is used for fuel, you run a higher risk of dirt reaching your fuel line and engine.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my engine can be repaired?
We start with a detailed inspection and diagnostics to understand the cause and extent of damage. Then we discuss repair and replacement paths, including cost, mileage, and safety. Our team explains the pros and cons so you can decide which option fits your needs and budget.
When should I schedule a timing belt replacement?
Most manufacturers list mileage or time intervals for timing belt replacement in the maintenance schedule. We review those guidelines, your vehicle’s age, and how you drive. If you are approaching the recommended interval, we can inspect components and plan service before the belt risks failing.
How long will the major engine work take?
Timeframes depend on the type of work, parts availability, and your vehicle’s specific condition. After diagnosis, we provide an estimated timeline before you approve repairs. During larger jobs, we offer a complimentary shuttle service when possible so you can continue your day with fewer disruptions.
What kind of warranty do you offer on engine repairs?
Our shop backs covered engine repairs with an industry-leading warranty. We review the details for your specific repair before any work begins, so you know how long coverage lasts and what is included. This warranty reflects our commitment to quality parts and workmanship.
Can you explain repairs in simple terms before I decide?
Yes. Clear communication is a priority for our team. We describe problems and recommended repairs in everyday language, answer questions, and review options at your pace. Our goal is that you feel informed and comfortable before authorizing any engine work or maintenance service.
