A Transparent Approach to Brake Repair
We are committed to changing the way you think about auto repair. At Christian Brothers Automotive West Road, we operate with complete transparency and integrity. When you bring your car in for a brake service, our process begins with a thorough diagnostic inspection. Following the inspection, we provide you with a detailed, easy-to-understand summary of our findings. This includes a clear breakdown of all necessary parts and labor costs, so you know exactly what to expect. We will never perform any work on your vehicle without your explicit consent, ensuring you are always in control of the repair process.
During our comprehensive brake inspection, our technicians meticulously examine every part of your braking system to ensure its integrity and performance. Our detailed assessment includes:
- Brake Pad and Shoe Thickness: We measure the thickness of your brake pads and shoes to determine their remaining life and check for even wear.
- Rotor and Drum Condition: We inspect the surfaces of your rotors and drums for signs of uneven wear, warping, or scoring, which can affect braking efficiency and cause vibrations.
- Brake Fluid: We test the quality and level of your brake fluid. Old or contaminated fluid can reduce braking effectiveness and lead to damage to your system.
- Hydraulic System: We inspect the calipers, wheel cylinders, and hydraulic lines for any leaks, rust, or improper function.
- Brake Hardware: We examine the clips, pins, and springs that secure your brake components, as these can wear out over time and compromise your brakes.
