Meet the owners of Christian Brothers Automotive Surprise:

For Lenka, teaching is her passion, and she feels privileged to be part of Arizona’s education system, helping to shape minds and hearts of the students. Outside the school, she enjoys her time with the family and volunteering at church in the youth outreach programs.

Cal spent 15 years gaining automotive expertise at various dealerships where he quickly moved up the professional ladder due to his innate ability to connect with customers and employees. However, Cal and Lenka had longed to own their business, and after learning of Christian Brothers Automotive they knew they found their next path in life. Putting their trust in God and embracing CBA’s faith-rooted mission, they started the franchise process in 2015. They moved from Michigan to Arizona at the beginning of 2018 to prepare to open their first location in Peoria. Now, Cal and Lenka are blessed to open their second location in Surprise, where they strive to be a household name and believe customers should be treated fairly and have their best interest at heart by providing a transparent process and outstanding customer service.

- As a proud dad of two athletes, sports are a big part of my life—especially soccer, baseball, and football. I love spending quality time with my family, traveling together, and creating memories. I enjoy connecting with friends and coworkers, and when I find myself with some alone time, I enjoy going for walks or hitting the gym for a little adrenaline boost and reset.
What do you love about Christian Brothers Automotive?
- As the owner of two Christian Brothers Automotive locations, I feel incredibly blessed by the opportunity to serve. My mission is simple but powerful: to glorify God by providing our guests with the kind of ethical, "above and beyond" service experience. We aren’t just here to fix cars; we’re here to change the way people feel about car care.
- I am incredibly energized by the culture we’ve built within our two shops. My greatest joy is watching our team members grow, not just as technicians and advisors, but as leaders. I love that our CBA brand culture allows me to guide my team members toward their own big dreams—even the dream of owning their own location one day.
