What Our Tune-Up Service Includes
Our tune-up service covers a complete analysis of the components that keep your engine running: spark plugs, brakes, oil and other fluids, lights, tires, filters, and emissions. We use manufacturer-quality equipment for every diagnostic and inspection.
How We Communicate Findings
Once diagnostics and inspection are complete, we send you a DVI report with photos and videos of exactly what we found. A service advisor walks you through any recommendations before a single repair proceeds, and no work is done without your approval. Most services can be completed the same day. If parts or scheduling require a return visit, we’ll coordinate around your availability.
Technicians sometimes identify related items during a tune-up that, if addressed together, can reduce the need for additional visits. We’ll flag those and let you decide.
Schedule Your Tune-Up in Hiram Today
Hiram, Powder Springs, and Paulding County drivers can schedule online or by calling (770) 809-6980. At Christian Brothers Automotive Hiram, you know the owners, you see the work before it starts, and you leave with a warranty that national competitors can’t match.
When to Schedule a Tune-Up
Your owner’s manual is the best starting point. Vehicle manufacturers publish a recommended maintenance schedule that specifies service intervals for tune-up components like spark plugs and filters, and following those intervals is one of the more reliable ways to keep your car running as intended.
If you’ve fallen behind on scheduled maintenance, your vehicle may give you signals worth paying attention to. Common warning signs that a tune-up may be overdue include:
- Rough idling: The engine shakes or feels unsteady at a stop
- Reduced fuel efficiency: You’re filling up more often without a change in driving habits
- Difficulty starting: The engine cranks longer than usual before turning over
- Check engine light: An illuminated warning light that hasn’t been diagnosed
- Loss of acceleration: The car feels sluggish or hesitates when you press the gas
A tune-up is part of a broader scheduled maintenance plan. The two overlap, though scheduled maintenance may also include additional fluid exchanges and inspections beyond a standard tune-up. Addressing worn components before they fail can help prevent more costly repairs to related engine systems.
