Frequently Asked Questions
How will I know if my car needs a tune-up?
If your car experiences reduced fuel economy, slower acceleration, hard starts, or new sounds, it might need a tune-up. We usually recommend following your vehicle’s owner manual or checking in every 30,000 miles. At Christian Brothers Automotive East Wichita, our diagnostics show you exactly what is going on, and our team explains all findings in everyday language. You will only pay for services that you approve, so there are no unnecessary charges.
What does your tune-up include, and how long will it take?
Our tune-ups include a full inspection of your car, diagnostics, spark plug and filter replacement when needed, fluid and systems check, and any preventative maintenance appropriate for your vehicle. Most tune-ups are finished the same day, depending on your car’s needs and available parts. We make it easy for you to drop off your car or use our shuttle so you can keep your day moving without disruption.
Are your technicians certified to work on my make and model?
Yes, our ASE-certified technicians are trained to service nearly every make and model on Wichita’s roads. Our access to manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment means your car gets accurate, up-to-date care. If an unfamiliar issue arises, we discuss the next steps with you so you can make an informed choice.
What kind of warranty do you offer on maintenance services?
We offer an industry-leading warranty on our maintenance and repair services. The warranty’s specifics—like duration and coverage—depend on the parts and services involved. When you visit us, we’ll review warranty details and answer any questions so you feel confident in your investment.
Do I need to drop my car off, or can I wait?
You can stay in our waiting area or use our complimentary shuttle to work, home, or other destinations in Wichita. We will keep you posted on your car’s progress and will contact you when everything is ready, providing flexibility for your day.
How do you ensure I only pay for what I really need?
We focus on transparency through a detailed inspection and open communication at each step. Before any work begins, we walk you through what we’ve found and discuss your options together. You decide what’s best for your vehicle, and our team respects your decisions every time.
