What to Expect With an Alignment
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I really need an alignment?
The best way to know is to combine what you feel with a professional inspection. If you notice pulling, uneven tire wear, or a crooked steering wheel, our technicians can measure your alignment angles and check related parts, then explain whether alignment or another service is appropriate.
How long does a wheel alignment usually take?
A typical alignment visit often takes around an hour once your vehicle is in the bay, depending on findings and vehicle design. If additional parts need attention, it can take longer. Our team explains timing up front and offers a complimentary shuttle when available.
Will you explain my alignment results before doing work?
Yes, we review your alignment measurements with you before any adjustments begin. We show which angles are out of specification, what that means for handling and tire wear, and what we recommend. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable with every decision.
Do you offer a warranty on alignment services?
We support our alignment work with a strong warranty that reflects our confidence in our workmanship. Specific terms can vary by service, and our team will review those details when you approve the work so you know exactly how you are covered.
Is it safe to keep driving if my car pulls?
Driving with a light pull is sometimes possible, but it can affect control and tire wear over time. If your vehicle pulls strongly, feels unstable, or the steering wheel shakes, we recommend scheduling an inspection soon so we can check alignment and related components.
