“I took my 2010 Toyota RAV4 in for a possible brake issue. The technicians checked the brakes, pads, rotors and hardware and test drove the vehicle. Everything was operating as required. No issues with the brakes. They also performed a courtesy inspection of the vehicle and detected the engine valve cover was leaking oil. The Rav4 had 229,000 miles on it. The vehicle had been experiencing high oil consumption previously. The Service advisor and technician suggested the valve cover gasket needed to be replaced and also the spark plugs. Both were done. After the repairs were accomplished, the service advisor recommended an oil consumption test. SO after driving the vehicle for 250 miles (actually it was about 300 miles before we could return) we took it back for an oil level check. The oil level check was good, no oil consumption was noticed at this time. The service advisor again recommended that i return after another 250 miles to check the oil level again. if no oil consumption after about 500 or so miles, he believes the valve cover seal and spark plugs corrected the loss of oil in the engine. These guys are very good. Quality inspections, honest advice and reasonable cost. i strongly recommend Christian brothers --, are topnotch AJ and Josh, along with sam the technician are topnotch!”
