Community Involvement

Christian Brothers Automotive Shawnee actively serves our local community. Since 2012, we have partnered with local schools and churches to provide free oil changes to families in need. Each October, our team volunteers their time and talent on a dedicated Saturday to provide this service.  

We also partner with The Single Mom KC organization to offer professional counsel regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) Shawnee’s recent involvement with the Johnson County Christmas Bureau (JCCB) will have an eternal impact. Each year, the JCCB supports low-income residents in Johnson County, Kansas, by providing essentials such as winter coats, clothing, food, and books through their holiday shop.

After learning in 2024 that Bibles were the most requested book among guests, the CBA Shawnee staff decided to focus their 2025 contributions on meeting that need. They purchased and donated 300 Bibles, including large print, Spanish, and children's versions. Just imagine the 300+ lives impacted by "God's Living Word". His Word renews and refreshes our minds and souls. Additionally, CBA Shawnee team purchased baby dolls and cradles, and personally sewed bedding to complete the gift sets for children. Children learn to care for others by caring for their baby dolls. This is an essential life skill for all children.
