Soon after its arrival (which was 6 hours early), I received a detailed explanation of their analysis which was, in fact, that the coolant leak was fatal. Nonetheless, Set et al were sympathetic to my plight, were very gracious in accommodating its removal for salvage. I have every confidence that had I chosen to replace the engine (for roughly 30% less than the dealership’s quote, it would have been done with care, discipline, timeliness, and quality.
