How Your Oil Change Appointment Works
Getting started is straightforward. Schedule online or by phone and let us know what you’re experiencing with your vehicle. The more detail you share, the faster our team can prepare for your visit.
When you arrive, our technicians use manufacturer-level equipment to perform your oil and filter change and inspection. Shortly after, you’ll receive a Digital Vehicle Inspection report via text with photos and videos of your vehicle’s condition. A service advisor walks you through the findings, and you approve or decline any additional recommendations through the DVI or by phone, at your convenience. Most oil changes are completed the same day, with any additional work scheduled around parts availability and your calendar.

What Every Driver Should Know About Oil Changes
Understanding what an oil change does and when it’s needed helps you evaluate service quality and make confident decisions about your vehicle’s care.
Why Oil & Filter Changes Protect Your Engine
Engine oil lubricates moving parts to reduce friction and heat, helps seal pistons against cylinder walls, and carries dirt and debris to the oil filter. Over time, that oil breaks down, becoming contaminated with dust, dirt, and sludge until it can no longer protect the components it’s meant to coat. Degraded oil can lead to carbon and particle buildup that causes real damage if left unaddressed.
The oil filter works alongside the oil, capturing debris before it can circulate through the engine. A clogged or aged filter can’t do that job effectively, which is why replacing both together is what makes the service complete. At CBA, every oil change is paired with a Courtesy Inspection of major vehicle systems at no additional cost, making it one of the most cost-effective visits you can make for your engine’s long-term health.
Choosing the Right Oil Type & Change Interval
Conventional oil, refined from crude oil, works well for older or lower-mileage engines with straightforward performance requirements. A synthetic blend combines conventional and synthetic base stocks for better resistance to breakdown under moderate stress and temperature variation. Full-synthetic oil is engineered for maximum protection, longer intervals between changes, and reliable performance in extreme temperatures or demanding driving conditions.
Your owner’s manual specifies the recommended oil type, viscosity grade, and change interval for your engine. Following those specifications supports manufacturer warranty coverage and long-term engine health. Driving habits matter too. Frequent short trips, stop-and-go traffic, towing, or extreme temperatures can shorten the useful life of your oil and may mean your vehicle can benefit from service more often than the standard interval suggests.
