What to Expect With Engine Services
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Frequently driving your car with little fuel can harm your engine over time because the gasoline at the bottom of your tank is usually the dirtiest. When this part is used for fuel, you run a higher risk of dirt reaching your fuel line and engine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can your team work on my specific European brand?
Yes, our team can work on many popular European brands, and we are always happy to discuss your specific vehicle. We routinely see models from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Volvo, MINI, and other European manufacturers. Because our ASE-certified technicians are familiar with the systems and layouts these brands use, they can approach inspection and repair with care. If you drive a less common make, you can call ahead so we can talk through your vehicle and any special considerations. Our goal is to be honest about what we can handle so you feel comfortable from the start.
How will you diagnose problems with my European vehicle?
We diagnose problems by combining your description of the concern with thorough testing that is appropriate for European models. Our team uses manufacturer-quality diagnostic equipment to read trouble codes and view data from your vehicle systems. We also perform visual inspections and road tests when needed, paying attention to how the car sounds, feels, and responds. By gathering information from both the technology and the driving experience, we work to identify the real source of the issue rather than just treating symptoms. Once we know what is going on, we explain our findings to you in plain language before asking for approval to move forward.
Do you use parts that meet European manufacturer standards?
We use parts and materials that meet or exceed manufacturer standards for European vehicles whenever we service your car. Our focus on manufacturer-quality equipment means we look for components that are appropriate for the specific systems in your vehicle, such as brakes, filters, and suspension parts. Using these types of parts helps support performance, reliability, and safety over time. It also works hand in hand with our industry-leading warranty, which is designed to give you additional confidence in the repairs. If you have questions about the parts recommended for your vehicle, we are glad to go over the options and explain the differences.
How do you make sure I am not paying for work I do not need?
We work to protect you from unnecessary work by grounding every recommendation in what we find during inspection and diagnostics. After we look over your European vehicle, we explain which items affect safety or immediate drivability and which ones are maintenance or future concerns. You receive an estimate and a clear explanation before any work begins, and we only proceed with services you approve. Our guiding principle of loving your neighbor means we treat your decisions with respect and avoid pressure or scare tactics. If something does not make sense, we invite you to ask questions until you feel comfortable.
Will I have a way to get around while my car is in the shop?
In many cases, yes, we can help you stay on the move while your car is with us. We offer complimentary shuttle service for local guests so you can get to work, home, or other nearby destinations while your European vehicle is being serviced. Availability can depend on scheduling and how many rides are needed that day, so we encourage you to mention this when you book your appointment. Our team will explain how the shuttle works and how we coordinate pickup when your vehicle is ready. We know being without a car can be stressful, and we work to make the experience as convenient as we can.
How does your warranty work for European repairs?
Our industry-leading warranty applies to the work we perform on your European vehicle and is designed to provide added peace of mind after you leave the shop. While specific terms can vary by service, the warranty reflects our belief in the quality of our workmanship and the parts we use. When we prepare an estimate, we can explain how the warranty applies to the repairs being recommended so you know what to expect. That way, you have a clear understanding of how you are protected before you approve any work. If you have questions later, our team is here to review the details with you again.
Can I come to you instead of the dealership for European maintenance?
In many situations, you can choose to come to us for European maintenance instead of visiting a dealership. We provide a wide range of services that align with manufacturer maintenance schedules, such as oil services, brake care, and other routine checks. Our ASE-certified technicians and manufacturer-quality equipment allow us to care for your vehicle in a way that supports performance and longevity. We also keep records of the work we perform so you can track your vehicle history over time. If you are unsure about a specific maintenance requirement, bring your handbook or ask our team, and we will review it with you.
