What to Expect With Engine Services
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Frequently driving your car with little fuel can harm your engine over time because the gasoline at the bottom of your tank is usually the dirtiest. When this part is used for fuel, you run a higher risk of dirt reaching your fuel line and engine.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you figure out what is wrong with my engine?
We combine your description of symptoms with visual checks, computer diagnostics, and mechanical tests when needed. Our ASE-certified technicians look for the root cause, not just the code. Then we explain what we found in clear language and review repair or engine service options with you before any work begins.
Is it safe to keep driving if my engine light is on?
Sometimes a solid light points to a minor issue, but a flashing light can signal a more serious problem. Because there is no way to know from the light alone, we encourage you to have it checked promptly. We can help you decide whether to keep driving or arrange a tow.
How long does a timing belt replacement usually take?
Timing belt work often takes most of a business day, although the exact time depends on your vehicle design and any related components we address at the same visit. When you schedule, we provide a general time frame and discuss shuttle options so you can plan around the appointment.
Will you call me before doing any extra engine work?
Yes, we contact you before performing any additional engine repair beyond what you have already approved. We review what changed, why an extra step is recommended, and what it may cost. Nothing moves forward until you understand and authorize the updated plan.
What kind of warranty do you offer on engine repairs?
We back our engine repairs with an industry-leading warranty that reflects our confidence in our workmanship and parts. Specific terms can vary by service, so our team explains how the warranty applies to your repair before you approve the work. This protection adds peace of mind for major engine decisions.
