What to Expect With an Alignment
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I need an alignment?
You may need an alignment if your car pulls to one side, the steering wheel is off-center, or your tires are wearing unevenly. Vibration or squealing tires can also be signs. Our team can inspect your vehicle and explain whether alignment or other repairs are needed.
How long will an alignment take at your shop?
Most alignment appointments fit within a typical service visit, although timing can vary with vehicle design and inspection findings. When you arrive, we provide a reasonable time estimate based on your car and our current schedule. You are welcome to wait in our lobby or use our shuttle service.
Will you explain alignment findings before doing work?
Yes, we always review our inspection and alignment measurements with you before performing work. Our staff explains what we found, how it affects your driving experience, and what we recommend. You have the chance to ask questions and approve services, so you stay in control of the decision.
Do your alignment services come with a warranty?
An industry-leading warranty backs our alignment-related work. The exact coverage can depend on the type of service completed, and our team explains those details before you authorize repairs. This warranty reflects our commitment to quality workmanship and long-term vehicle care.
Can you check my suspension if my car feels loose?
We can inspect your suspension components when you bring your vehicle in. A loose or wandering feel can be caused by worn parts, misalignment, or a combination of issues. Our ASE-certified technicians look at steering, suspension, and tires together, then explain what they found and what options you may want to consider.
