Meet the Owners
Mark and Kathy Moody moved from Allen, Texas in November 2010 to open Christian Brothers Automotive in Schertz, Texas, which opened its doors on December 12, 2011. They have two grown children, one of which is 35-year-old Heather who lives in Anna, Texas with their two granddaughters 17-year-old Kyla and 16-month-old Melody. Their son, 32-year-old Matthew, and his wife Tiffany moved to the San Antonio area in 2012 and reside in Cibolo, Texas. Matt works as the Service Manager for the Schertz location. He and his wife have two children, 3-year-old Madison and 22-month-old Cooper. Mark and Kathy Moody both left corporate careers in other industries to pursue ownership as a Christian Brothers Automotive franchisee. They are extremely happy with their choice and love being a part of the Schertz community. What they enjoy most is the friendly and family-oriented hometown feel.
The Moody’s also enjoy being involved in their local community. Mark Moody serves on the board of directors for the Schertz Chamber of Commerce. He is a board member of Randolph Metrocom Rotary Club and serves on the board of St. Phillips College for the school of Automotive Technology. Mark is also a deacon at First Baptist Church in Universal City. Mark and Kathy support all of the local charities and fundraisers that are associated with the organizations they are involved in as well as participate in Christian Brothers Automotive’s National Service Initiative “Single Mom’s Oil Change” each October. The couple also supports the local educational and athletic programs in Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD including Samuel Clemens High School and Byron P. Steele High School. They also support Judson ISD including Marion High School and John Paul II Catholic School.
Christian Brothers Automotive in Schertz is operated based on Christian principles of honesty and integrity and is dedicated to treating employees & customers as members of our own family. We have the same diagnostic equipment and tools as most major automotive dealerships, which means we can offer you the same services at lower rates. Our staff includes a master technician who specializes in Jaguar and other European vehicle repairs. All of our technicians are top notch and have many years of auto repair experience. Being located approximately two miles away from Randolph Air Force Base, we take pride in servicing our customers including retired and active-duty military personnel and their families.
