Did You Know: The tires on your car wear at immensely different rates. Therefore rotating them on a regular schedule is your best defense to prevent the need to replace them early. A general guide to follow is to have them rotated every 5,000 miles or so.
More on Tire Rotation Service
A tire rotation is an important maintenance step to ensure your vehicle’s tires wear evenly. Uneven tires can lead to a rougher ride, poor handling, and less traction in inclement weather. To prolong the life of your tires and ensure the safety of you and your family on the road, follow the recommendation in your owner’s manual for how frequently to rotate your tires. On average, this is every 7,000 to 8,000 miles – or about every other oil change.
Christian Brothers Automotive can keep your tires rotated properly so you can continue to drive with complete peace of mind. When it comes to caring for your car, nobody takes a more thorough approach than our certified auto repair experts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you repair my flat tire, or do I need to replace it?
In many cases, we can safely repair a flat tire, especially when a small object affects the tread area only. If damage is in the sidewall, is large, or shows internal harm, we typically recommend replacement. We inspect the tire first, then explain your options and safety considerations.
How long will tire replacement usually take?
Tire replacement time depends on your vehicle, how many tires we are changing, and what we find during inspection. Our team normally provides a time estimate after we see your vehicle. You are welcome to wait in our lobby or use our shuttle while we complete the work.
Will you tell me the tire cost before you start?
Yes, we review pricing and options with you before any work begins. After inspecting your tires, we prepare an estimate that outlines recommended services and costs. We walk through this with you in plain language, answer questions, and only proceed once you are comfortable with the plan.
Is it safe for me to drive on this damaged tire?
Driving on a damaged tire can be risky, especially at higher speeds. If you notice a bulge, a severe cut, or a tire that keeps losing air, we recommend having it checked as soon as you can. We can inspect the tire, then explain whether it is safe to repair, replace, or drive short distances.
