What to Expect with a Tune-Up
From the moment you schedule to the moment you drive away, our process is built around transparency and your control over what gets done.
- Step 1: Schedule online or by phone. Describe what your vehicle is experiencing so we can prepare the right service approach before you arrive.
- Step 2: Drop off your vehicle. Our ASE-certified technicians perform a complete inspection and diagnostics using manufacturer-equivalent equipment.
- Step 3: Review and approve your DVI report. A service advisor walks through every finding with you via text and phone. You approve or decline each service before we touch anything.
After approved work is complete, a final quality check is performed before your vehicle is returned.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Built for El Paso County Driving
Monument sits at elevation, and the combination of altitude, temperature swings, and high-demand driving can accelerate wear on vehicle systems that routine car maintenance catches early. Daily I-25 commutes, mountain roads, and family hauling all add up faster than most drivers expect.
Christian Brothers Automotive Monument serves drivers throughout El Paso County. Our free shuttle service means dropping off your vehicle doesn’t have to disrupt your schedule. Schedule online or call (719) 738-8200 to book your Tune-Up in Monument today.
Following the Manufacturer’s Schedule
Every vehicle comes with a manufacturer’s maintenance schedule, found in your owner’s manual, that specifies what services are needed based on mileage and driving conditions. Staying current on that schedule can help extend your vehicle’s lifespan and keep your car running as the manufacturer intended.
Our technicians help you stay on track and are straightforward about what’s needed now versus what can wait. If budget is a concern, we can help you prioritize the most critical items first. No pressure, no surprises.
Call (719) 738-8200 or schedule online to book a Tune-Up at Christian Brothers Automotive Monument. We serve Monument and El Paso County drivers with honest, transparent service backed by a warranty that covers completed work.
Why Regular Tune-Ups Prevent Larger Repairs
Preventive maintenance works because vehicle systems degrade gradually. A Tune-Up catches developing issues across multiple systems at once, long before any single problem becomes a roadside emergency or a major repair bill. Worn spark plugs quietly reduce fuel efficiency over thousands of miles. Clogged filters restrict airflow and fuel delivery in ways that are easy to miss until performance drops noticeably.
Fluids are especially important. Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid all serve protective functions, and when levels drop or fluid condition degrades, the consequences can range from overheating to brake failure. Catching these during a Tune-Up can cost far less than addressing the damage afterward.
A well-maintained vehicle also handles better, stops more reliably, and gives you earlier warning when something does need attention. This matters on the demanding roads around Monument.
