What to Expect With an Alignment
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I check my alignment?
We recommend checking your alignment at least once a year, or every 6,000 to 10,000 miles. Varied road conditions can affect alignment more frequently, making regular checks essential for optimal vehicle performance and safety. Scheduling an alignment service during your regular maintenance visits is a great way to ensure your vehicle is operating at its best all year long.
What are the signs my vehicle needs an alignment?
Common signs of misalignment include your car pulling to one side, uneven tire wear, an off-center steering wheel, and unusual vibrations. If you notice any of these issues, it's time to schedule a professional alignment with Christian Brothers Automotive Midlothian-Huguenot. Our team accurately diagnoses and corrects alignment problems swiftly, ensuring you get back on the road safely.
Can tire alignment affect my vehicle’s fuel efficiency?
Yes. Misalignment adds resistance as your tires drag or fight for traction, causing your vehicle’s engine to work harder and burn more fuel. Routine vehicle alignment helps smooth out your drive and can translate to real fuel savings. We ensure your wheels are precisely aligned to help you save money at the pump and avoid unnecessary wear on your entire vehicle system.
Does proper alignment prevent tire wear?
Accurate alignment ensures the forces are distributed evenly across each tire’s contact surface, helping to minimize uneven wear and maximize tire lifespan. You can trust us with protecting your investment and maintaining your vehicle for the long haul.
