What to Expect During Your Service Visit
When you schedule online or by phone, share your vehicle’s year, model, mileage, symptoms, warning-light information, and known maintenance history. These details help us focus the inspection and determine which testing may be appropriate.
Here’s what to expect:
- Initial review: We record your concerns and relevant vehicle information before beginning the inspection.
- Inspection & diagnosis: Our technicians perform the appropriate testing. A Courtesy Inspection reviews major systems, while a Digital Vehicle Inspection provides photos of relevant findings.
- Recommendations & approval: We explain the findings, repair options, and maintenance priorities before any authorized work begins.
- Service completion: We complete the approved work and review the service information with you.
Most repair services at our Lakeway location are backed by the Nice Difference Warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs last. Eligibility depends on the service performed.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
A brake, tire, or under-vehicle inspection can document your vehicle’s condition and help identify the source of a specific concern.
See the Findings Behind Our Recommendations
Photos from a Digital Vehicle Inspection connect our recommendations to visible findings. We explain technical information without unnecessary jargon, giving you a clearer basis for deciding what to repair now, monitor, or plan for later.
Owner-operators are on-site, and our amenities include a comfortable waiting area, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary shuttle service. If you can’t remain at the shop, the shuttle can help you continue your day while your vehicle is being serviced.
Diagnostic testing, fluid checks, brake and tire evaluations, and under-vehicle inspections provide useful context for maintenance and repair decisions.
Signs It’s Time to Schedule an Inspection
Schedule an inspection if you notice any of the following:
- A warning light or fluid leak
- Brake noise, vibration, or reduced response
- Overheating or unusual engine operation
- Uneven tire wear
- Changes in steering, shifting, or handling
Diagnosis matters when the cause of a symptom isn’t clear. Even a vehicle that seems to drive normally may be due for maintenance based on time or mileage. An inspection can also clarify its condition when service records are incomplete or you’ve recently purchased it.
What to Share Before Your Appointment
Schedule Porsche maintenance, diagnosis, or repair and tell us what you’ve noticed. Sharing the model, year, symptoms, warning lights, and known service history helps us prepare for your visit and focus the initial evaluation.
Appointments are available online or by phone, and complimentary shuttle service is available if you can’t remain at the shop. Porsche owners coming from Austin can schedule service at our Lakeway location.
Plan Maintenance & Review Diagnostic Findings
Your vehicle maintenance schedule provides a starting point, but current symptoms and inspection findings also matter. Oil condition, braking performance, tire wear, battery condition, fluid levels, mileage, and service history can shape the recommended next steps.
Before approving work, ask:
- What finding or test result explains the reported symptom?
- Does the condition affect safety, drivability, or routine maintenance?
- Which work needs prompt attention, and which items can be monitored?
- What maintenance is due based on time, mileage, and vehicle configuration?
- What follow-up inspection or service should be planned?
Warning lights, overheating, fluid loss, braking changes, and significant handling changes shouldn’t be evaluated through guesswork. A focused inspection connects the symptom to relevant findings so you can make an informed service decision.
Our ASE-certified technicians pair inspection evidence with clear explanations of your repair and maintenance priorities. We also offer complimentary shuttle service to make your visit more convenient.
