What to Expect With Engine Services
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Frequently driving your car with little fuel can harm your engine over time because the gasoline at the bottom of your tank is usually the dirtiest. When this part is used for fuel, you run a higher risk of dirt reaching your fuel line and engine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can your team work on my diesel truck and car?
Yes, we service both diesel trucks and diesel cars. Our ASE-certified technicians work on work vehicles and daily drivers, and we adjust recommendations based on how you use your diesel. You can bring your household of diesel vehicles to one trusted shop.
How do you explain diesel engine repairs to me?
We review our findings with you in plain language and avoid unnecessary jargon. Our team explains what is urgent, what can wait, and why a repair is recommended. You receive an estimate and the chance to ask questions before any work begins.
What kind of warranty do you offer on diesel repairs?
We provide a strong warranty on qualifying parts and labor, which offers added confidence when you approve diesel repairs. Specific terms can vary by service and parts used, and our team is happy to explain how the warranty applies to your visit.
How soon can you look at my diesel if I have a warning light?
We work to schedule diagnostics for diesel warning lights as promptly as possible. Availability can depend on current shop volume and the nature of your concern. When you call, we discuss symptoms, timing, and a safe plan for getting your vehicle in.
What if my diesel vehicle is hard to start or not safe to drive?
If your diesel will not start reliably or feels unsafe, contact us before driving it further. We can talk through what you are experiencing and suggest next steps. In some situations, arranging a tow may be the safest way to protect you and your engine.
