“basic honesty having exhausted every avenue of advice first from; would-be driveway mechanics, bloggers, and friends, i cringed when i dropped off my vehicle at " Christian Brothers", with an undisclosed noise coming from the front end. in fact my wife and i , discussed the possiblity of postponing future vacation destinations, in order to offset the precieved cost of the repairs necessary. well, we missed the update calls from the shop, regarding the status of our car , so we reluctantly entered the waiting room, prepared to hear the worse, sighing deeply. the gentleman behind the counter, asked for our name, then sifted through his paperwork { okay here it comes }. "we took it for a test drive; it shook, rattled, wondered and followed every rut in the road" { I knew it !, okay here it comes }, " we did a total diagnosis, including the brakes and found", { okay, here it comes, looking at each other }, "we discovered the tire preesure in all four tires at 52 psig, 40 percent higher than the recommended pressure of 32. lowering the pressure we once again drove it, and all is fine" { what ? }. if there was ever a reason to have Christian Brothers service your car, it would be because of basic honesty. william tackaberry i'm a writer, and i found this critque a joy to post...”
