Christian Brothers Automotive Covington is owned and operated by John and McKenzie Coleman. John has lived in 14 major cities, claiming a childhood in Cleveland and settling down in New Orleans post-Katrina. McKenzie grew up on the Northshore and traveled all over the world only to find there is no city like New Orleans. John and McKenzie met at a hurricane party and truly the rest was history. They have three little girls: Hazel (6), Ruby (4) and Charlie (2).

Together, The Colemans have more than 25 years of experience serving clients and guests. John comes to Christian Brothers Automotive with an extensive background in the hospitality industry. His work at boutique resorts, hotels and campus food service operations opened the door to a new career conceptualizing and implementing architectural signage. McKenzie spent many years in the thriving restaurant industry in New Orleans before starting her career in financial services. She spent the last 10 years building financial plans to help clients achieve their goals.

John and McKenzie have a passion for people and this community because they love southern Louisiana and all that comes with it. Their desire to serve people well is why they pursued a Christian Brothers Automotive franchise. They believe in their values and stand behind Christian Brothers Automotive’s mission to “Glorify God by providing excellent and ethical automotive repair for our guests”. John and McKenzie see the need for transparency in the automotive repair industry and they seek to establish themselves as a trusted source in the community.
