What Does the Nice Difference® Warranty Cover? A Clermont Driver’s Guide
When you pay for a car repair, you want to know what happens if a covered part or installation develops a problem later. That question matters whether you drive a few miles around Clermont or commute daily on Highway 50. Christian Brothers Automotive offers the Nice Difference® Warranty on qualifying repairs, and its time-and-mileage rule is worth understanding.

What does three years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs last, mean?
The standard coverage period runs until the later of three years after the repair or 36,000 miles driven since the repair. Both thresholds must be reached before that period ends. This is different from a warranty that expires when the first limit is reached. The protection still applies only to eligible repairs and covered defects under the written terms.
Example: a low-mileage Clermont driver
Suppose you have a qualifying repair and drive only 20,000 miles over four years. Although more than three years have passed, you have not reached 36,000 miles. The repair can still be within the standard warranty period. It does not mean unrelated vehicle problems are covered; the issue must involve eligible original work.
Example: a daily Highway 50 commuter
Now imagine you drive 42,000 miles in two years after a qualifying repair. You have passed the mileage threshold, but three years have not passed. The standard warranty period has not yet ended. This feature can benefit drivers with very different schedules.
What kinds of repairs may qualify?
Eligible repairs can include work on braking, heating and air conditioning, steering and suspension, cooling, electrical, and starting or charging systems. The warranty is a limited parts-and-labor warranty for qualifying defects in new components or installation. Coverage is tied to the work actually performed and the original invoice. If an unrelated component fails later, that does not automatically make it a warranty claim.
What is not covered?
The standard warranty excludes routine preventive maintenance, normal wear and tear, batteries, tires, and certain major internal engine and transmission work. Damage associated with misuse, neglect, or accidents is also excluded. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Some products may have separate manufacturer coverage; ask your advisor what applies.
What if you have a problem away from Clermont?
The warranty is recognized through Christian Brothers Automotive locations nationwide, subject to a specific claim process. Within 25 miles of the original shop, return to that shop for warranty service. If you are farther away, contact the original location for guidance on using another Christian Brothers shop. If none is within 25 miles, contact the warranty administrator at 1-833-863-0014 before authorizing repairs elsewhere. Prior authorization is required for warranty work.
What should you keep after your repair?
Save the original invoice and note the date and odometer reading. If you notice symptoms that may relate to the original repair, contact the shop before having someone else perform work. Explain what is happening and where the vehicle is located. This makes it easier to follow the correct warranty procedure.
Frequently asked questions
Does 36,000 miles mean total vehicle mileage? No. The mileage allowance is measured from the qualifying repair.
Does the warranty cover a replacement battery? The standard Nice Difference® Warranty excludes batteries; ask about any separate battery warranty.
Can I take the car to any repair shop and submit a receipt? Do not assume so. Out-of-area claims require the prescribed process and advance authorization.
