Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I choose a 4-wheel alignment in Carrollton?
A 4-wheel alignment is the most comprehensive service, ensuring that all four tires are pointing in the same direction and are perfectly parallel. For Carrollton drivers, this provides the best protection against uneven tire wear and ensures the vehicle handles predictably during high-speed maneuvers on local tollways and busy intersections.
How does proper alignment improve my fuel efficiency?
When your wheels are misaligned, they essentially "fight" each other, creating extra rolling resistance. This forces your engine to burn more fuel to maintain speed. By performing a wheel alignment, we reduce this friction, allowing your car to glide more easily and noticeably improving your miles per gallon.
What is the difference between a front-end and a 4-wheel alignment?
A front-end alignment only adjusts the front two wheels, while a 4-wheel alignment includes the rear axle settings. Most modern cars, especially those with independent rear suspensions, require all four wheels to be calibrated to prevent the rear of the car from "dog-tracking" or causing premature tire failure.
Can hitting a curb in Carrollton ruin my vehicle alignment?
Yes, a single significant impact with a curb or a deep pothole on Josey Lane can instantly knock your suspension out of spec. If you’ve had a recent "hard" impact, we recommend an alignment service immediately to prevent a small adjustment from turning into a set of ruined tires.
Does an alignment service include a suspension check?
Absolutely. At our alignment shop in Carrollton, guests receive a thorough inspection of the suspension system before any adjustments are made. If we find worn-out parts like tie rods or struts, we will inform you immediately, as an alignment cannot be properly held if the underlying hardware is failing.
Don’t let uneven tire wear cost you a new set of tires—get ASE-certified care you can trust.
