Did You Know: The tires on your car wear at immensely different rates. Therefore rotating them on a regular schedule is your best defense to prevent the need to replace them early. A general guide to follow is to have them rotated every 5,000 miles or so.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I have a tire rotation performed?
We recommend a tire rotation every 5,000 to 7,500 miles, which usually aligns with your oil change interval. Regular rotations help ensure that all four tires wear at the same rate, maximizing your investment and maintaining consistent traction on Alpharetta roads.
Can all punctures be fixed with a flat tire repair?
Not all damage is repairable. We can typically perform a tire repair if the puncture is in the tread area and less than a quarter-inch in diameter. Damage to the sidewall or "shoulder" of the tire requires a full tire replacement to ensure your safety.
How do I know which tires are best?
Our experts consider your vehicle type and annual mileage to suggest tires that offer low rolling resistance for fuel economy and high wet-traction ratings. We help you choose the right balance of comfort and durability for heavy highway use.
What is the difference between tire balancing and alignment?
Balancing compensates for weight imbalances in the tire/wheel assembly to stop vibrations. Alignment adjusts the angles of the wheels so they are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the ground, preventing the car from pulling to one side.
Is it safe to replace just one tire?
It is generally best to replace tires in pairs or full sets to maintain balanced handling. Replacing just one tire can create an imbalance in traction and diameter, which may interfere with your vehicle's anti-lock braking or all-wheel-drive systems.

FAQs
-
Q. "How often should you rotate your tires?"As a general rule of thumb, we recommend rotating your tires every 5,000 - 6,000 miles (although your driving style and vehicle types should also be taken into consideration). Rotating front and rear tires helps to ensure your tread wears down more evenly, optimizing your tire performance and extending its lifespan.
-
Q. "How do I tell if I need my tires rotated?"If you notice uneven wear across your tires or vibrations when driving, it may be time for a rotation.
-
Q. "How long should my tires last?"Your tire’s lifetime in mileage will depend on your maintenance and driving habits. Your tires could last up to 60,000 miles if you take good care of them, but this mileage will decrease if you don’t perform regular tire rotations.
-
Q. "How do tire rotations make my tires last longer?"Tire rotations help prevent uneven wear amongst your tires. Thus, improving the lifespan and preventing any handling issues from a worn-out tire.
-
Q. "What is a Digital Vehicle Inspection?"With a complimentary Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) on every visit, you’ll see firsthand photos of your vehicle from under the hood.
