1. Schedule Your Appointment

2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the signs my vehicle needs an alignment?
Common signs of needing an alignment include pulling to one side, uneven tire wear, or a crooked steering wheel when driving straight. If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s advisable to schedule a check-up promptly to avoid further issues.
You might also feel vibration through the steering wheel, hear unusual road noise from your tires, or notice that your vehicle feels less stable when you are changing lanes on roads like Virginia Beach Boulevard or driving at higher speeds on I-64. These changes can be gradual, so it helps to pay attention to how your vehicle normally responds and bring it in if something starts to feel off. Addressing these early warning signs can help prevent more serious steering and suspension problems later on.
How often should I check my vehicle's alignment?
Generally, it's recommended to have your alignment checked annually. However, if you frequently drive on rough roads or have experienced an impact, more regular assessments can be beneficial to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
What is the benefit of a four-wheel alignment?
A four-wheel alignment ensures that all wheels are adjusted to match the manufacturer's specifications, which is especially important for vehicles with independent suspension systems. This service can significantly enhance handling and tire longevity.
Can bad alignment affect my vehicle’s fuel efficiency?
Yes, misalignment increases tire resistance, forcing the engine to work harder and consume more fuel. Proper alignment ensures smoother driving and can lead to improved fuel savings.
