Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a battery replacement usually take?
Most battery tests and replacements are completed in a single visit, and many can be finished the same day. Actual timing depends on your vehicle and whether other issues appear during testing. Our team discusses expected timing with you at check-in and keeps you updated.
How will you know if it is really my battery?
We test the entire starting and charging system with diagnostic equipment before recommending any part. This includes the battery, alternator, and starter. By reviewing these readings, we can show you whether the battery is the problem or if another component needs attention instead.
What kind of warranty do you offer on a new battery?
We offer an industry-leading warranty on the batteries we install, along with coverage on our workmanship. Specific terms depend on the part selected, and our staff reviews those details with you before you approve the work. Our goal is to provide lasting confidence after you leave.
Can I wait at your shop during battery service?
Yes, many guests choose to wait with us while their battery and electrical system are checked. Our lobby is designed to be welcoming and comfortable. If you prefer not to wait, we can often arrange a complimentary shuttle service to help you keep up with your day.
Do you check my alternator and starter too?
Yes, our testing process includes checking the alternator and starter along with the battery. This helps identify the true cause of starting problems and reduces the chance of a repeat issue. We review these results with you in plain language before recommending any repair.

FAQs
-
Q. "How long can a car sit before the battery dies?"The battery in your car can die within as little as two weeks when unused. While our cars are more technologically advanced than ever, this comes at a cost. Due to the various gadgets and computer technology manufacturers include in our vehicles, the newest models coming off the line are always on, continually monitoring the car’s systems around the clock.
-
Q. "Does the temperature affect my vehicle's battery?"Hot and cold temperatures can ruin your battery, especially if it’s already weak. Most customers in warm, southern climates don’t realize that hot weather drains their batteries. On the other hand, cold temperatures slow down chemical reactions, which means that your car battery will become sluggish and appear to be far lower than it actually is. Most modern batteries are designed to deliver an abundance of power at what is considered a “cold crank” temperature, but older batteries or batteries which are further into their lifespan may even fail to start your car on a particularly frigid and frosty morning.

"Why do car batteries fail?"The answer to this popular question includes many different reasons, ranging from age, corrosion, alternator problems, extreme weather conditions, or the classic case of headlights being left on.
