How Mercedes Service Works at Our Whitestown Shop
Our process is built around one goal: making sure you know exactly what’s happening with your Mercedes before any work begins. Three straightforward steps take you from scheduling to driving away with confidence.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Our Warranty & Digital Vehicle Inspection
Every repair we perform is backed by the Nice Difference Warranty: 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs last. That coverage applies to Mercedes repairs just as it does to any other vehicle we service, and it reflects our confidence in the work our technicians do.
Before any recommendation is made, we complete a free Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI). Our technicians photograph your vehicle’s condition and send those photos directly to your phone so you can see exactly what they’re seeing. You review the findings, ask questions, and approve the work you want done. Nothing proceeds without your sign-off.

Mercedes Maintenance Intervals
Mercedes-Benz vehicles follow manufacturer-recommended service schedules covering oil and filter changes, brake inspections, cabin and engine air filter replacements, and multi-point inspections at set mileage or time intervals. Staying current with these intervals helps keep the vehicle performing as designed and can help catch smaller issues before they become larger repairs.
Brake & Suspension Service
Mercedes brake and suspension components are engineered to specific European tolerances. Brake wear, rotor condition, and suspension geometry all affect handling and safety. Technicians familiar with these specifications can identify wear patterns that generic service might miss and recommend the correct replacement parts for your model.
Check Engine Light & Electrical Diagnostics
Modern Mercedes vehicles have complex electrical architectures. A check engine light or warning message often requires advanced diagnostic tools capable of reading manufacturer-specific fault codes rather than generic OBD-II codes. Getting an accurate read on the fault before authorizing repairs can save time and help prevent unnecessary parts replacement.
Transmission, Cooling & AC Service
Transmission fluid service, cooling system flushes, and AC system maintenance become increasingly important as a Mercedes ages. Addressing these on the manufacturer’s recommended schedule is one of the most effective ways to help reduce the risk of larger mechanical repairs associated with deferred maintenance.
Independent Shop vs. Dealership for Mercedes Repair
A qualified independent shop with ASE-certified technicians can handle the full range of Mercedes maintenance and repair needs. Independent shops may offer shorter scheduling lead times than a dealership service department, and a locally owned shop has a direct relationship with its customers.
