At Christian Brothers Automotive Cedar Rapids, we believe auto repair should be built on trust. Locally owned by Lance and Gina Shaver, our shop at 3740 Westdale Pkwy SW reflects our family’s commitment to faith, family, and serving others.

Lance holds an engineering degree and brings over 35 years of experience in manufacturing leadership across automotive parts, building materials, and steel fabrication—experience grounded in quality standards, accountability, and doing things the right way. Gina holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and taught kindergarten through eighth grade until their son, Austin, was born. She later continued to serve as a substitute teacher for several years. Her heart for children, families, and the community continues to shape the welcoming culture of our business.

Our family is actively involved in this mission. Austin brings manufacturing experience and works alongside Lance, as does our son-in-law, Matt Denz, who has a background in law enforcement and a strong commitment to service and integrity. Our daughter, Morgan, continues her career as a veterinarian at Heartland Animal Clinic in Marion, faithfully serving families and their pets in our community.
