Frequently Asked Questions
What does a tune-up include for my car?
A tune-up typically includes a detailed inspection of components that affect performance, starting, and efficiency. Depending on your vehicle, we may recommend services like spark plug replacement, filter checks, and fuel or air system cleaning. We review your car’s condition and manufacturer guidance before suggesting any specific work.
How often should I get a tune-up?
The right interval depends on your vehicle’s age, mileage, and driving habits. Many manufacturers provide maintenance schedules, and we help interpret those based on your real-world use. If you notice rough running, hard starts, or poor fuel economy, it is wise to have our team evaluate your car.
How long will a tune-up appointment take?
Most tune-up visits can be completed the same day, although timing varies with what your vehicle needs. We review the expected timeline with you after our inspection and before work begins. If you have a busy schedule, our shuttle service helps you keep your day moving while we handle your car.
Will you recommend only the services my car needs?
Our goal is to recommend only what supports your safety and long-term vehicle health. Guided by our values, we explain what we find, why a service is suggested, and which items can wait. You stay in control, and you decide what to approve after hearing our recommendations.
Can I see an estimate before you start work?
Yes, you always receive a clear estimate before any tune-up or maintenance work begins. We walk through each line item, answer your questions, and only move forward after you approve the plan. This way, you understand both the services and the costs before we start.
