What to Expect With an Alignment
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.

If you're concerned about the tread on your tires, we recommend the “penny test” to check your tread depth. Simply insert a penny into your tire's tread groove with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see all of Lincoln's head, your tread depth is less than 2/32 inch and it's time to replace your tires.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Is Regular Wheel Alignment Important?
Regular wheel alignment is crucial for maintaining optimal vehicle performance and prolonging the life of your tires. Misalignment can cause uneven tire wear, lead to poor vehicle handling, and reduce fuel efficiency, ultimately increasing driving costs. In Kansas City, where road conditions vary from smooth highways to rugged streets, properly aligning your wheels is vital for a safe and smooth driving experience.
What Are the Signs That My Car Needs an Alignment?
Look out for specific indicators that your vehicle might need an alignment, such as:
- Pulling to the left or right while driving straight
- Uneven tire wear
- Squealing tires
- Steering wheel off-center when you're driving straight
If you notice any of these symptoms, it's wise to schedule an alignment check to prevent further potential damage.
How Often Should I Check My Car’s Alignment?
While it’s recommended to check your vehicle’s alignment every 6,000 miles or every six months, several factors might necessitate more frequent checks. These include driving regularly on uneven roads, frequent curb impacts, or if you notice any signs of alignment issues. Ensuring regular alignment checks can save you from costly repairs down the line.
Any significant impact or change in your vehicle's handling should prompt an immediate check. Kansas City's seasonal shifts can cause more rapid degradation of road surfaces, increasing the likelihood of alignment issues.
What Can Cause Misalignment in Kansas City?
In Kansas City, the causes of misalignment can be as varied as the seasons. Potholes from winter freeze-thaw cycles, curb impacts, speed bumps, or minor accidents can all wreak havoc on your vehicle’s alignment. Regular checks are recommended to offset these common issues and maintain optimal vehicle performance.
