What to Expect With Engine Services
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Frequently driving your car with little fuel can harm your engine over time because the gasoline at the bottom of your tank is usually the dirtiest. When this part is used for fuel, you run a higher risk of dirt reaching your fuel line and engine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it safe to keep driving with engine noise?
New engine noises should always be checked. Some sounds come from minor issues, but others can signal serious internal wear. We recommend scheduling an inspection as soon as you can and limiting driving if the noise is loud, sudden, or getting worse.
How will you explain what my engine needs?
We review our inspection results with you in plain language. Our technicians describe what we found, show you where possible, and outline options in clear terms. You have time to ask questions so you can feel comfortable with any decision about repairs or replacement.
Can you help me decide on engine repair or replacement?
Yes. We walk through mileage, vehicle condition, costs, and how long you plan to keep the car. Our goal is to give you practical guidance so you can compare repair to replacement and choose the option that fits your situation.
How long do major engine repairs usually take?
Timing belts, head gaskets, and engine work often take more than one day, depending on parts availability and job complexity. We provide an estimated timeline before we start and keep you updated, and our shuttle service can help while your car is with us.
What if I have problems after the engine works?
If you experience issues after a repair, we want to know. Qualifying services are backed by an industry-leading warranty, and we will review your concern, inspect the vehicle, and discuss next steps with you. Our goal is to stand behind our workmanship and support you.
