What to Expect With Engine Services
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Frequently driving your car with little fuel can harm your engine over time because the gasoline at the bottom of your tank is usually the dirtiest. When this part is used for fuel, you run a higher risk of dirt reaching your fuel line and engine.
Stay Ahead of Problems with Preventive Care
Your car’s engine components are under constant stress and will eventually wear down. Rather than waiting for a complete breakdown, our team of experienced technicians focuses on preventative maintenance. This proactive approach allows us to detect small issues—like a minor oil leak or a failing sensor—before they escalate into costly and extensive repairs. Whether your car needs a simple tune-up or a major engine overhaul, our skilled professionals have the expertise to handle it.

Christian Brothers Automotive Norman offers a wide array of engine services, all performed by ASE-certified technicians. We use advanced diagnostic tools to ensure every service is completed with precision and care. Our comprehensive engine services include:

- Oil Leak Detection and Repair: A visible oil leak is a primary indicator of an engine problem. Leaks often occur when seals and gaskets dry out and become brittle due to neglected maintenance. If you notice a stain on your driveway, it's a clear sign that it’s time to bring your vehicle in for a professional inspection.
- Complete Engine Replacement: For catastrophic engine failure, we can install a new or remanufactured engine to get your vehicle back in optimal working condition.
- Ignition System Service: We inspect and service key components such as spark plugs, ignition wires, and coils to ensure a strong spark for efficient combustion.
- Fuel System Services: We maintain your fuel system, including the fuel pump and filters, to ensure your engine receives the clean, consistent fuel supply it needs to run at its best.
- Cooling System Repair: We diagnose and repair issues with your water pump, radiator, and other cooling system parts to prevent engine overheating and potential damage.
- Sensor and Electrical System Repair: Modern engines rely on a complex network of sensors and electrical systems. We troubleshoot and replace malfunctioning sensors to restore your engine's performance and efficiency.
