Three Steps to a Clear Suspension Repair Decision
We don’t recommend a repair until we’ve evaluated the concern and gathered the information needed to explain it.
Our suspension service process includes:
- Evaluating the symptoms: We discuss what you’ve noticed and inspect the relevant suspension components. We may also consider steering response, tire condition, and alignment-related clues.
- Explaining the findings: We identify the source of the concern and describe the condition of the affected parts without unnecessary technical jargon.
- Reviewing the recommendation: We walk you through the available repair options so you can make an informed decision for your vehicle.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
When to Schedule a Suspension Inspection
Schedule an inspection if you notice a rough or bouncing ride, new clunks or rattles, loose steering, pulling, uneven tire wear, or visible fluid near a suspension component. Seek prompt evaluation if the ride height changes suddenly, the vehicle becomes unstable, or a suspension symptom appears alongside steering difficulty.
How Suspension Components Work Together
The suspension is a connected group of springs, dampers, structural supports, and joints rather than a single part. Springs support the vehicle’s weight, shocks and struts control movement, and components such as control arms, ball joints, and bushings help maintain wheel position.
Suspension, steering, tires, and wheel alignment can all influence how a vehicle responds. A complete inspection helps distinguish the source of pulling, noise, looseness, or abnormal tire wear so the recommendation addresses the underlying problem.

What Different Suspension Symptoms Can Indicate
Symptoms provide useful clues, but an inspection is needed to identify their source. Clunks, squeaks, or rattles may come from worn or loose connections, while repeated bouncing can indicate reduced damping from shocks or struts.
Pulling, wandering, or instability may involve the suspension, steering, tires, or wheel alignment. Uneven tire wear can also point to a condition affecting wheel position or tire contact with the road.
