How Our Suspension Service Process Works
Every suspension job at Christian Brothers Automotive Green Oaks follows a clear three-step sequence built around transparency and verified results.
- Consultation: We start by reviewing your specific concerns, driving habits, and maintenance history so our technicians understand the full picture before touching the vehicle.
- Diagnosis & Documentation: ASE-certified technicians perform advanced diagnostics and document their findings through the free Digital Vehicle Inspection, including photos, so you can see exactly what was found.
- Approved repairs & verification: Once you approve the work, we complete repairs using high-quality parts and perform a post-service check before returning the vehicle to you.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
The Nice Difference Warranty
Qualifying suspension repairs performed at our Green Oaks location are covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs last. Most independent shops in Grand Prairie don’t publicly commit to coverage anywhere near that range. Ours does.

What Our Technicians Inspect
Our ASE-certified technicians inspect all major suspension components, including shocks, struts, ball joints, control arms, bushings, tie rods, and coil springs. Worn shocks and struts can increase stopping distance and reduce driver control well beyond the point where ride comfort is affected. Suspension and wheel alignment are closely connected, too: a damaged component often pulls the vehicle out of alignment, which accelerates tire wear on its own.
When shocks or struts need replacement, we recommend replacing them in pairs, left and right, to help maintain balanced handling across the axle. Every visit to our Grand Prairie shop includes a free Courtesy Inspection that covers your suspension as part of a broader review of your vehicle’s major systems.
