See What We Find Before We Start
Our free Digital Vehicle Inspection gives you visual proof of your vehicle’s condition during the Tune-Ups process. We send you actual photos along with our technician’s recommendations, and you decide what to approve. No work begins without your go-ahead, which means the price you approve reflects the work you authorize.
What a Tune-Up Covers
A Tune-Up is a set of maintenance tasks designed to keep your vehicle’s fuel, ignition, and emissions systems working in proper coordination. Common service items include inspection or replacement of spark plugs, engine air filter, fuel filter, and ignition components, along with checks of belts, hoses, and fluid levels. The specific combination depends on your vehicle and where it falls on the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule.
That schedule matters because manufacturers design maintenance intervals around real wear patterns for your specific engine and drivetrain. A shop that works from that framework tailors service to your actual vehicle rather than applying a one-size-fits-all package. Staying current can help maintain fuel economy, support consistent engine performance, and reduce the likelihood of unexpected breakdowns.
Signs Your Vehicle May Be Due for a Tune-Up
Some warning signs appear on the dashboard. Others show up in how the vehicle feels and performs day to day. Recognizing them early gives you more options.
Common indicators to watch for:
- Reduced fuel economy that develops gradually over weeks or months
- Rough or uneven idling, engine stutter, or hesitation when accelerating
- A check engine or maintenance light appearing on the dashboard
- Slow or hard starts, unusual engine noise, or a noticeable drop in power
Manufacturers also recommend tune-up inspections at regular mileage intervals even when a vehicle isn’t showing obvious symptoms. Staying ahead of the schedule is generally easier and less costly than addressing problems after they develop.
