What to Expect During Diesel Service
We move from your reported symptoms to inspection, explanation, authorization, and follow-through. You’ll receive clear information before deciding how to proceed.
1. Symptoms & Vehicle History
We begin with what you’ve noticed, when it occurs, and how you use the vehicle. Mileage, maintenance history, towing or hauling demands, and recent performance changes can provide important context for testing.
2. Inspection & Diagnostic Testing
Our technicians inspect the vehicle and use diagnostic tools to evaluate the systems connected to your concern. Digital Vehicle Inspection photos show you what we find, so you don’t have to rely on a verbal description alone.
3. Explanation & Authorization
We explain the confirmed findings and recommended service in clear terms. No work is performed without your permission.
4. Repair Follow-Through
After completing authorized work, we may verify the repair, plan upcoming maintenance, or perform further testing if the original symptom involves several connected systems. We also maintain your service history to make future mileage-based needs easier to identify.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Diesel Warning Signs That Call for an Inspection
Schedule an inspection when your vehicle starts, sounds, accelerates, or runs differently than usual. Temperature changes, new exhaust smoke, and leaks also warrant attention.
Contact us when you notice:
- Difficult starting or extended cranking
- Rough idle, hesitation, or reduced acceleration
- Excessive or unusual smoke
- New engine noises
- Check-engine or emissions warning lights
- Rising operating temperature or overheating
- Visible fuel, oil, or coolant leaks
- Lower fuel economy without an obvious change in use
Continuing to drive with an unresolved warning may allow a problem in one system to affect related fuel, emissions, cooling, or engine components.
