Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my car needs shocks or struts service?
If you hear unusual noises, feel extra bounce, or notice your car swaying more than usual, it may be time for shocks or struts service. We provide a digital inspection so you can see exactly what’s happening before deciding on repairs. Our ASE-certified technicians check for leaks, worn mounts, and uneven tire wear. This helps ensure that you make only the repairs your car truly needs.
What makes your suspension repairs different from other Chanhassen shops?
We combine ASE-certified expertise with a transparent digital inspection process and a strong community reputation in Chanhassen. You receive clear, photo-based explanations and written estimates. Our repairs are backed by a strong warranty and a customer-focused approach that sets us apart from typical auto repair shops.
Will I get an estimate before repairs start?
Yes. We supply a written, detailed estimate before performing any repairs. Our team talks you through each recommendation, so you remain informed and in control. We always wait for your approval before proceeding with any suspension repair or other work.
How long does shocks or struts installation take?
We complete most shocks and struts installations in one day, though the timeframe depends on your vehicle’s specific needs. If your repair takes longer, we offer a shuttle or loaner car so you can stay on schedule. Our team shares a timeline up front and updates you along the way.
Does your shop warranty shocks and suspension repairs?
Yes, our shop provides a warranty on all suspension repairs, including shocks and struts services. The details of your coverage depend on the parts used and your type of vehicle, which we explain in advance. This warranty reflects our commitment to transparency and lasting service for every driver in Chanhassen.
Are there problems with suspension caused by Chanhassen road conditions?
Yes, Chanhassen’s winter freeze-thaw cycle and frequent potholes can be tough on your suspension. These conditions often lead to worn shocks, damaged struts, or bushings that need attention. Our technicians take local road conditions into account when inspecting and planning repairs for your vehicle.
