Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I get a tune-up?
The right timing for a tune-up depends on your vehicle, mileage, and driving habits. Many drivers benefit from a closer look at performance-related components from time to time, especially if they notice changes. We review your car and its history, then suggest an interval that makes sense for you.
What happens during your tune-up service?
During a tune-up, we inspect parts that affect how your engine starts and runs, such as ignition components, filters, and related systems. We may also check fluids and look for warning codes. After the inspection, we explain what we found, outline options, and only perform work you approve.
Can you check my car if a warning light is on?
Yes, if a warning light is on, we can look into the underlying cause. We typically begin by reviewing the light, checking for stored fault codes, and performing basic inspections. Then we discuss what we see, explain possible next steps, and help you decide whether a tune-up or other service is appropriate.
How long will my tune-up appointment take?
Most tune-up visits take a few hours, although timing can vary based on the vehicle and what we find. When you schedule, we talk about your needs and our current workload. Our team works to give you a realistic timeframe and keep you updated while your car is with us.
Will you explain which services are urgent?
We always aim to separate urgent needs from items that can wait. After our inspection, we review everything in plain language, highlight anything that affects safety or reliability, and then discuss less critical items. Our goal is to help you prioritize, not to pressure you into services you do not want.
