What to Expect With Engine Services
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Frequently driving your car with little fuel can harm your engine over time because the gasoline at the bottom of your tank is usually the dirtiest. When this part is used for fuel, you run a higher risk of dirt reaching your fuel line and engine.
Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Know If My Engine Issue Is Serious?
New noises, strong smells, warning lights, or overheating usually deserve attention soon. If your vehicle runs differently than normal or if fluids are leaking, it is wise to have our team inspect it. We can tell you whether it is safe to keep driving and what needs to be addressed.
Can You Tell Me The Cost Before Starting Engine Repair?
Yes, we provide an estimate before any engine work begins. After diagnostics, we review what we found, explain repair options, and discuss pricing. You decide how to proceed, and we only move forward with the work you authorize.
When Should My Timing Belt Be Replaced?
Most timing belts should be replaced at specific mileage or time intervals set by the vehicle manufacturer. We can check your owner’s information and inspect your vehicle to see where you stand. If you are unsure, we recommend asking us to review it during your next visit.
Will You Explain If I Need Engine Replacement?
If we believe engine replacement may be worth considering, we will walk you through why. We compare repair costs, mileage, and vehicle condition, then outline possible options. Our goal is to give you clear information, not push you into one decision.
What Kind Of Warranty Do You Offer On Engine Work?
Many engine repairs and related services are covered by our industry-leading warranty. The exact coverage can depend on the type of work and parts used. We review warranty details with you before repairs begin, so you understand how your vehicle is protected afterward.
