What to Expect During Your Audi Service Visit
- Describe the concern: When scheduling, tell us about warning lights, noises, recent repairs, maintenance history, or changes in performance.
- Review the findings: Our technicians perform the appropriate inspections and electronic testing, explain the results, and provide an upfront estimate.
- Approve the plan: We don’t begin mechanical work until you authorize it. We provide progress updates, then review the completed work and applicable warranty information at pickup.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Mechanical Inspection Supported by Electronic Testing
Audi warning messages may be connected to mechanical conditions, electrical concerns, or multiple systems. Our ASE-certified technicians use manufacturer-quality equipment to evaluate European vehicles through physical inspection and electronic testing rather than relying on a dashboard message alone.
See the Findings Before Approving Repairs
Our Digital Vehicle Inspection includes photos documenting what we find. We explain which concerns need prompt attention, which can be planned for later, and how each recommendation relates to the vehicle’s condition or maintenance requirements.
Before making a decision, you can ask about repair priorities, the symptoms being addressed, and what the estimate includes. You choose whether to approve the plan after reviewing the available information.
When to Schedule Maintenance or Diagnosis
Your owner’s manual and vehicle-specific maintenance information are the best references for scheduled service intervals. Routine care may include oil and filter service, fluid checks, brake and tire evaluations, battery testing, and inspection of components identified by the maintenance schedule.
A check engine light, brake warning, overheating concern, loss of power, unusual vibration, or visible fluid leak warrants prompt evaluation. Note when the symptom occurs and whether it changes with speed, engine temperature, or driving conditions.
What to Consider When Choosing Audi Service in Murphy
Technical capability, diagnostic clarity, convenience, warranty terms, and estimated cost all matter when choosing a service provider. We serve drivers from Murphy, Plano, and Wylie with manufacturer-quality equipment, clear recommendations, and a repair process that keeps approval in your hands.
Independent service doesn’t automatically resolve every factory warranty or recall question. Review your vehicle’s warranty documents and ask the appropriate provider how those terms apply before authorizing related work.
Convenient Service With Warranty Protection
Schedule routine maintenance, a diagnostic visit, or an evaluation of a repair recommendation. Our complimentary shuttle service can keep your day moving while your vehicle is being serviced.
Eligible work is covered by the Nice Difference Warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes last. Coverage is honored at Christian Brothers Automotive Murphy locations nationwide. Work completed with customer-supplied parts isn’t eligible, and other stated terms and limitations apply.
Preparing for an Audi Diagnostic Visit
A warning light identifies an area that needs evaluation, but it doesn’t always reveal the failed component or the complete repair. Inspection findings and electronic test results can show whether one condition or several related concerns are present.
Useful details to prepare include:
- The Audi model, model year, and current mileage
- Any illuminated warning lights or dashboard messages
- Recent repairs and available maintenance records
- When the symptom started and how often it occurs
- Whether the issue changes with speed, temperature, braking, or acceleration
Before authorizing work, ask which findings affect safety or drivability, which services are time-sensitive, what the estimate covers, and which warranty terms apply to the approved repair.
