What to Expect During Your Service Visit
From scheduling through completion, your visit follows five clear stages:
- Scheduling: Tell us what you’ve noticed and arrange an appointment.
- Inspection and diagnostics: We evaluate the vehicle and investigate the reported concern.
- Digital report and estimate: You receive documented findings, recommendations, and an estimate.
- Review and approval: We explain your options so you can decide which work to authorize.
- Service completion or scheduling: We perform or schedule approved work according to the service plan.
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Whether scheduling online or over the phone be sure and let us know what you're experiencing so we can provide fast and accurate service advice.
2. Diagnostics and Inspections
Drop off your vehicle and the shop will get to work with inspections and diagnostics using the same equipment as the manufacturers to determine issues and next steps.
3. Digital Vehicle Inspection Report and Estimate
Following the diagnosis we will text you a digital vehicle inspection report, containing pictures and videos of our findings and recommendations.
4. Review and Approval
A service advisor will reach out to walk you through the findings and recommendations to determine how you would like to proceed, or you can approve work directly in your DVI.
5. Work Performed or Scheduled
Most work can be completed immediately, or scheduled based on parts and customer availability.
Your Vehicle’s History Shapes the Service Plan
A vehicle’s age, mileage, service records, and current symptoms can affect maintenance and repair decisions. Manufacturer-recommended intervals provide another important reference point.
Bring any maintenance records and prior repair information you have. This context helps our technicians evaluate new concerns and identify recurring symptoms.
Warning Signs That Call for an Inspection
A warning light or performance change doesn’t identify a specific repair. Similar symptoms can have different causes, so diagnosis should come before parts replacement.
Arrange an inspection if you notice:
- Warning lights or dashboard messages
- Fluid leaks or unusual odors
- Hard starting or rough running
- Reduced power or changed acceleration
- Braking, steering, or handling changes
- Unusual vibration or abnormal noise
We base our recommendations on documented findings, then explain what needs prompt attention and what can wait.
Porsche Auto Service for Lubbock and Wolfforth Drivers
We provide routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair for drivers in Lubbock and nearby Wolfforth. Whether your vehicle is due for scheduled care or has a concern requiring further diagnosis, we can inspect it and explain the available service options.
Prepare for Your Service Appointment
When scheduling, have the model, year, and mileage ready, along with any dashboard messages and recent service records. Tell us when the symptom occurs, what you notice, and whether the vehicle has had related repairs.
After the inspection, we review the findings and recommendations before you authorize additional work. We also explain which services may need prompt attention and which can be planned for later.
Make Service Decisions With Better Information
Documented history and a thorough inspection provide the context needed to evaluate maintenance needs and new symptoms. Two principles guide that conversation.
Use Service History as Context
Maintenance records can show completed services, prior repairs, and recurring concerns. Mileage, vehicle age, driving use, and manufacturer-recommended intervals can then guide the next inspection or maintenance discussion.
Diagnose Before Replacing Parts
A warning message, vibration, noise, or drivability change can point to several possible systems. Vehicle diagnostics and physical inspection help narrow the concern before we recommend repairs.
