What a Tune-Up Entails
A modern tune-up at Christian Brothers Automotive Gretna is more than just a quick check. It's a detailed inspection and service of your vehicle's core systems, all performed according to your car's specific maintenance plan. When you bring your vehicle to our shop in Gretna, our team will conduct a thorough analysis of essential components, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Our comprehensive tune-up services often include an evaluation of:
- Spark Plugs: We check for wear and tear, replacing them as needed to ensure optimal combustion and fuel efficiency.
- Engine & Cabin Filters: Clogged filters can hinder performance and air quality. We inspect and replace them to keep your engine breathing easy and your cabin air fresh.
- Braking System: Our technicians examine brake pads, rotors, and fluid to guarantee your stopping power is reliable and safe.
- Fluid Levels & Condition: From engine oil and transmission fluid to coolant and power steering fluid, we ensure all fluid levels are correct and that the fluids are clean and effective.
- Tires: We inspect tire pressure, tread wear, and alignment to promote safety, fuel economy, and tire longevity.
- Lighting & Electrical Systems: We check all exterior and interior lights, as well as the battery and charging system, to ensure they're working properly.
- Belts & Hoses: We look for cracks, wear, or leaks in essential belts and hoses that could lead to overheating or component failure.
